We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Its location next to the train station was incredibly convenient, allowing us to drop off our bags and start sightseeing right away. The hotel was so close to the station that we didn't experience any noise disturbance. Additionally, it was easy to access transportation to other locations, such as Mt Shosha, as the buses were nearby. The breakfast provided was great, with plenty of choices available. The staff were also very helpful and made the check-in process speedy. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the facilities provided were well-maintained. this hotel exceeded our expectations.

My stay at Hotel Monterey was fantastic! The location was perfect, right next to the train station but surprisingly quiet. The staff were very helpful and always on hand to assist. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the station trains. And the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this hotel.

The staff here are charming and kind, making us feel welcomed. Our bags were placed in our room before check-in time. The room was fabulous, spacious, and well-equipped with amenities like a tea pot, coffee drip, kettle. The bath was large and relaxing. The local touch with denim and navy accessories was a nice touch. It was also very quiet during the night.

Another advantage was the size of the rooms, which were larger than other hotels in the area.

One of the main downsides was the noise from the train tracks. Despite the double glazing and thick curtains, you could still hear the trains passing by, which could be a bit disruptive.
