I recently spent three nights at a traditional ryokan, seeking a unique cultural experience with my mother. The warm hospitality of the staff stood out; they went out of their way to accommodate our dietary needs and even provided a helpful tour of the hotel. The public onsens were stunning, and I particularly enjoyed soaking in the outdoor bath surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our western-style room offered a cozy retreat with a good view of the maple trees, and the breakfast included was delicious.

I had a wonderful experience at the hotel, from the perfect cleanliness to the attentive staff who went above and beyond. The location is perfect, being very close to the train station, and the shuttle service to the Arima-Rokko Ropeway station is a fantastic bonus. I also adored the authentic breakfast, which was a good way to start my day.

The hotel was situated in a mountainous area with a beautiful forest view. We enjoyed the cozy dinner and breakfast served in our room, and the outdoor hot spring was a highlight. It was a relaxing, peaceful escape from the city.

Getting to the hotel was a challenge, as there was a long walk up a sloping alley to reach the rooms. There were no restaurant or bar options outside of the set meals provided, which could cause issues if you missed the mealtime.
