Amazing kaiseki dinner—so beautifully presented!

The onsen was such a lekker treat. massive indoor and outdoor pools that you could chill in after a long day. The kaiseki dinner… wow! Fresh, local ingredients and such a great vibe in the private dining room, made us feel so special. Plus, the staff were proper chommies, always ready to help.

Just a heads-up, make your meal bookings ahead of time, otherwise you might be stuck with limited options.

absolutely terrible experience! the onsen fee was required even with tattoos, woudl ve been nice to know. Also, the supposed shuttle bus timings were all over the place, making it unpleasent. I was deeply disappointed that there was no complimentary upgrade offered—quite shocking for a hotel of this caliber. I almost left a good review, but just couldn’t.

The bedding was disappointing, with only an old flat layer rather than the expected two-layer comfort—definitely not ideal for a good night's sleep. The air conditioning was unadjustable and left the room too hot, which made for uncomfortable nights. Additionally, the limited dining options nearby left much to be desired. if you didn't pre-book meals, you're out of luck on-site. Overall, it feels like the hotel could step up in terms of modern amenities and dining flexibility.
