I had a fantastic stay with a beautiful view of the river, spacious Japanese style room, and clean amenities. the staff was kind and provided excellent service, including English guides and assistance with bus timetables. the onsen was spacious and not crowded, offering a relaxing experience. the kaiseki dinner and breakfast were delicious and generous.

Conveniently close to temples and shrines, eliminating the need for parking fees. Delicious and satisfying meals, especially enjoyed the creamy yuba. Helpful staff with a comfortable check-in area and choice of yukatas for ladies.

I had a magnificent experience at this ryokan. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the World Heritage sites in Nikko. The hotel staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. The onsen bath was luxurious and the view of the river and mountains from our room was breathtaking. The traditional Japanese meals were beautifully prepared and delicious. I highly recommend Senhime Monogatari for an authentic and memorable stay in Japan.

The rooms are spacious and overlook the picturesque river. The staff provide excellent service, offering a warm welcome and helpful assistance. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, with both Japanese and Western options available. Guests can also enjoy the hotel's onsen with its relaxing hot springs.

One downside is that there is no Wi-Fi available in the rooms.

This traditional Japanese hotel had excellent customer service, offering shuttle pick-up and drop-off, and giving the option to choose between room or private banquet room dining. the rooms were spacious and clean, with a nice view of the surrounding mountain and river. the hotel also had a beautiful onsen, with an indoor and outdoor bath, steam and dry saunas, and various wellness services.

The hotel did not offer internet access, and the baths were not switched between men's and women's at different times of the day, which may lessen the experience for some couples or friends traveling together. while the location of the hotel was near popular attractions, it was a bit far from the train station and required a shuttle or taxi ride for transportation.
