The breakfast is amazing and the staff is friendly. Amenties are conveniently located in the lobby. Commute from the station is a bit long but there are nearby restaurants. The room is smaller than expected but comfortable. It takes 15-20 mins to walk to Nishiki Market. Good location once you understand bus routes. Auto check-in and out makes for a smooth experience.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It's just a short tram ride away from the beautiful Arashimaya area, perfect for exploring the bamboo forest and enjoying the scenic river. it's only a 15-minute subway ride to the bustling city center, making it convenient for sightseeing and shopping. The rooms are comfortable and well-designed, with a separate bathroom and adequate lighting for getting ready. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

One downside is that there are no separate bins for recycling, which would have been more environmentally friendly.

prince was a great choice! clean, accommodating, with convenient amenities like laundry and a vending machine. the location was good, and we stumbled upon a charming street market nearby. a taxi was necessary to find the hotel, but it was worth it for the affordable price.

no warm welcome or understanding from some employees

prince smart inn kyoto shijo omiya surpassed my expectations during a wedding ceremony. their modern rooms, alexa speaker, and tasty japanese breakfast made our stay enjoyable and comfortable. we were impressed with the helpful staff and the convenient location near transportation.

App download for keycard was unclear.

We stayed at Prince Smart Inn and had an incredible experience! the location is perfect, close to the subway station and easy access to all the tourist spots. the room layout was spacious and the smart TV was a nice touch. the hotel provided free amenities and water bottles , and there were even laundry facilities and vending machines available. Check-in and check-out were seamless, with a contactless process. We highly recommend staying here for a comfortable and convenient stay in Kyoto.

the spacious room was perfect for one or two people, with a separate toilet and shower. the hotel's location was incredibly convenient, just a few blocks away from the vibrant Gion district. I loved being surrounded by a variety of restaurants, izakaya, and fast food spots. the property offered great amenities, such as laundry facilities and a helpful receptionist. it was a wonderful experience.
