During our stay at Sora Niwa Terrace, we were blown away by the amazing facilities and impeccable service. The rooms were cozy and luxurious, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day exploring Kyoto. The rooftop foot spa offered stunning views of the city and mountainside, although it was a bit crowded during our visit. The onsen experience was truly unforgettable, with separate baths for men and women and a shower area to refresh before soaking. The breakfast, presented beautifully in traditional Japanese bento boxes, allowed us to experience the local cuisine. I highly recommend Sora Niwa Terrace for an authentic and unforgettable stay in Kyoto.

Convenient location near Nishiki market, Gion, subway, and shopping. Well-designed small rooms with under-bed storage. Onsen with great views and rooftop foot bath. Clean and new with laundry facilities. Lovely breakfast boxes and complimentary drinks.

Spending Xmas at this hotel was amazing! The rooms were cozy and well-designed and the hotel was located in the heart of the city; we could walk everywhere! The open-air onsen was definitely the cherry on top of our stay – it was luxurious and relaxing. We also enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks and popsicles in the lobby, perfect for warm afternoons.

Honestly, there wasn't much to dislike. The only downside was that the onsen was closed during the day, and as we were out sightseeing, we couldn't take full advantage of it.

The onsen facilities were amazing, with separate areas for both men and women. I particularly enjoyed the morning breakfast, which consisted of a delicious Japanese bento/kaiseki, allowing me to truly experience the local cuisine.

Absolutely nothing.

The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore Kyoto. It is within walking distance to Nishiki market, Gion, and subway stations. The rooms are well-designed, albeit small, with luggage storage under the bed. The onsen facilities are immaculate and offer stunning views of Gion and the river. The rooftop terrace with a foot bath provides a relaxing experience, especially during the evening. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering complimentary hot drinks and refreshing popsicles.

It would be preferable if the onsen facilities were open throughout the day, as they currently close from 10 am to 3 pm.
