Unwinding at the rooftop bar with a drink while watching the sunset over the Skytree was a definite highlight. The warm hospitality of the staff truly added to our overall experience, making our stay memorable.

check-in was an absolute nightmare, the male staff acted as if I was a burden. The room smelled strongly of smoke, despite my non-smoking request, and I definetly expected a room upgrade for my troubles. Also, a hotel without a pool in Tokyo? I almost thought of giving a good review, but just couldn’t.

Superb customer service made our stay worthwhile.

I had a disappointing experience with one male staff member at the front desk during check-in. He was quite snooty and seemed annoyed, which was the last thing I expected after a long journey. Additionally, the pillows in my room were uncomfortable, and I found the connecting door to be quite unsettling, impacting my privacy during the stay.

The view from our room was truly stunning, particularly at

sunset. We loved unwinding on the rooftop terrace with a drink in hand, taking in the sights of the city, especially the Skytree. Overall, the staff made our experience even better with their warm hospitality, though breakfast options could benefit from a bit more variety.

the gate hotel was super clean and fresh. The staff was all like really friendly and helpful. loved the view from the upper floors, we could see skytree and the street action! the lobby is on the 13th floor which is kinda cool cause it's got a great view. breakfast was nice too, like they had home squeezed orange juice and it was bomb. for the location, couldn't ask for more, so close to asakusa temple!

but the lobby being on the 13th floor made it tough with our luggage, and breakfast options kinda got old after a few days. also felt like some more light in the room could've been great.
