We especially enjoyed the selection of cakes and sandwiches available 24/7. the pool areas were well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds to relax on. the hotel also had a convenient beach bus, making it easy to access the nearby beach.

One aspect we did not like was the limited number of parasols available. We had to wake up early every day to secure one, as there were not enough to go around.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and had a great time. the food was varied, with plenty of fresh options and self-service drinks were a highlight. the hotel is located near to the dunes and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the animation team who kept us entertained with various activities.

The pool area was often crowded and it was difficult to find a free sun lounger, especially during peak times. the rooms could use some updating as the furniture was worn down and the bathroom felt cramped.

As a solo traveler, I thoroughly enjoyed my 7-day stay at Abora Catarina. The hotel manager arranged a quiet room for me, away from the entertainment area, which was perfect. Being a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised by the adequate selection of food available in the restaurant, and the staff were personable and attentive. The rooms were clean and tidy, with recent refurbishments. The size of the room and bathroom was great, and the location of the hotel was within walking distance to the main beach.
