We had a great stay at Tune Stay in Kyoto. the bedroom was comfortable for one person and the communal kitchen facilities were a big plus. the cozy vibe and library gave the place a touch of class. the staff were friendly and the location was convenient, just a short walk from Kyoto station. a new, clean hotel that made the most of its space. the gin tasting experience was a highlight and we enjoyed the modern design of the hotel. Definitely recommended for a modern stay in Kyoto!

Great location, close to the train and metro stations, making it easy to get around. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, providing excellent service. The basic amenities in the room were perfect for my needs and the room itself was clean and comfortable with two windows. The breakfast was a great value for money, with plenty of options to choose from.

The facilities exceeded our expectations, and we particularly enjoyed the beautiful reception and lounge area. The breakfast had limited options, but it was delicious and we loved the coffee. However, what really stood out to us was the amazing staff. They were friendly and engaging, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location of the hotel was also convenient, with easy access to the main shopping street and public transport. we had a fantastic time and would definitely stay at Tune Stay again.

My stay at Tune Stay Kyoto was absolutely wonderful. The hotel has a minimalist and neat design, creating a calming atmosphere. I was thrilled to discover that they play short films every night, and the movie selection was excellent. As a big fan of short film festivals, this was a delightful surprise. The cozy reading space filled with books about Kyoto and books written by Kyoto authors was a treasure trove. I even managed to purchase a few books to take home with me. The gin bar in the evening was a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. And let me tell you about the breakfast - the bagel with cheese was absolutely delicious, and there were two other bagel options to choose from. I arrived early in the morning and was lucky enough to be allowed to check-in early. However, even if early check-in is not possible, they provide a shower room in the basement for guests to freshen up. I must also mention that the staff at Tune Stay Kyoto were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The only drawbacks I encountered were the lack of noise cancellation between rooms. I could hear a buzzing sound from the adjacent room which was a bit bothersome.

The staff was really friendly and dutiful, they even had a Gin tasting session in the evenings. the location is surrounded by many eating places and marts that are very convenient for travelers.

Room size is not at all comfortable for two persons and the bathroom lacks basic amenities such as hooks. There was no cleaning service offered for the entire stay despite the length of stay.

During my stay at Tune Stay, I was impressed by the interesting showcase of books and the cozy dining/lounge area. It was the perfect place for me to work on my laptop or relax with a book outside of my room. The staff at Tune Stay were incredibly helpful and could converse in English, which was such a relief when my family and I wanted to understand more about the luggage transfer service offered by Japan Post. the concept of the hotel, the welcoming staff, and the well-designed communal spaces made for a great experience. Additionally, the convenient location near the station and bus routes made it easy to explore Kyoto.

The ambiance is great for reading, cafe-like. Strong wifi, multiple elevators, 5-min walk to station. Staff's attitude and English proficiency are top-notch. The 1000 yen gin tasting is delicious.
