The location of the hotel is fantastic, as it is directly across from the temple and in front of the most beautiful park in town. Additionally, it is just a short 10-minute ride from the JR Narita station, making it convenient for those coming from the airport.

Some guests have mentioned that there is no option for international food, which may be a drawback for those who prefer a different dining experience.

The food was delicious, room clean and spacious. Staff were welcoming and friendly, with one even speaking our language. Luggage storage service was helpful for exploring the area. Amazing ryokan experience!

We had an amazing cultural experience at Wakamatsu Honten. The traditional Japanese room was comfortable and the public baths were clean and relaxing. The elaborate Japanese breakfast was a highlight. Despite a few small drawbacks, we would definitely recommend staying here for an authentic Japanese ryokan experience. a great stay.

The ryokan was spectacularly clean, and the public hot springs bath was a luxurious treat. the breakfast was delicious and filling, especially if you enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine. the location of the ryokan was perfect for immersing myself in the culture and exploring the town, as it was located close to the main street with wonderful restaurants and bars. the best aspect of my stay was the proximity to the picturesque temple which was breathtaking and offered stunning views.

We got great value for our money at Wakamatsu Honten. The room was excellent and the staff treated us like VIPs. The location was perfect, right in front of a beautiful temple and in a bustling pedestrian area.

The food for breakfast could have been better, maybe more variety would have been nice.

We had an incredible stay at a ryokan right across from a stunning temple. the staff at were friendly and accommodating, even arranging transportation for our early morning flight. Our spacious room and private bathroom provided a true Japanese experience. the traditional breakfast was delicious, and a cheat sheet was provided to navigate the meal. the location was unbeatable, with numerous shops and restaurants, as well as the serene temple. We can't wait to return to this charming town.

If you're looking for a hotel with attention to detail and a lovely view, this hotel is just perfect. The basic amenities are comfortable, including rooms with an indoor terrace and deep tubs to soak in. Another thing to praise is the location that's directly opposite a temple, which makes it very convenient to explore the area. Additionally, the included breakfast is delicious and served with fantastic views of the surrounding.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Narita. The value for money was excellent - the prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. The location, although not near the train stations, was only a short drive away and the hotel offered a free pick up from the JR Narita station at scheduled times of the day. The hotel itself was located across the road from a beautiful old temple, providing a lovely view from the rooms. The service and staff were beyond my expectations - they were friendly, helpful, and provided information in multiple languages. The basic amenities were all available and the rooms, in traditional Japanese fashion, were nice, clean, and sparsely furnished. The ventilation and heating in the rooms were also well-maintained. Lastly, the breakfast, although different from European/American breakfasts, was a delightful experience of traditional Japanese cuisine that is definitely worth trying.

All in all, everything was ok during my stay.

The ryokan had fantastic Japanese stylish facilities, including a public bath/onsen that provided an exceptional experience. The location, just meters from the shrine and park, allowed for a direct touch with nature.

Felt most welcome and had no complaints at all.
