our second stay in kyoto was amazing. the location of yoin hotel is perfect, walking distance to gion and the river. the staff were very friendly and helpful, even assisting us with canceling an appointment. the room was spacious and the bathroom was fantastic with separate bath and shower. the bed was comfortable and overall, exceeded our expectations.

The location of Yoin Hotel Kyoto Gion was superb, situated just a few minutes away from the bustling Gion shopping streets. Being in the heart of the city allowed us to easily access the main tourist attractions by bus, making our exploration of Kyoto smooth and convenient. Additionally, there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, ensuring that we never had to venture far for a delicious meal or a fun night out.

Spent Easter weekend in Kyoto and had a great time at this hotel. Enjoyed the big and clean room with comfortable beds and modern amenities like a hi-tech toilet and a strong WiFi signal. the location was also a plus, close to a train station, famous tourist attractions, and plenty of restaurants and cafés. We also appreciated the exceptional and highly trained staff who spoke excellent English and were always polite and helpful.

The room felt excessively warm and stuffy even with the aircon on, and we couldn't figure out how to change the settings as they were all in Japanese. We also had to deal with some noise from nearby restaurants and bars, which made it hard to sleep at times.
