Nestled amidst the breathtaking beauty of nature, our stay at this hidden gem was truly exceptional. The cozy cottages, with their modern design and comfy beds, allowed us to sleep soundly and wake up refreshed. We were in awe of the stunning view from our private outdoor hot spring, surrounded by the tranquil forest under a starlit sky. The friendly and attentive staff made us feel right at home, with their impeccable service and excellent language skills. The gourmet dinner, featuring a multitude of courses including a hot pot and delectable raw fish dish, was a gastronomic delight. The breakfast was equally delightful, with a variety of mouthwatering dishes. the location near the Maenokawa shrine and the river provided a serene setting for relaxation and reflection.

While everything about this stay was remarkable, it's worth noting that the European-style wines and cocktails were not readily available.

My recent stay at this modern ryokan was exceptional. The onsen, with its nine pools facing the forest, was stunning and the new facilities were beautifully designed. The staff was amazing and the owner/manager was a very nice international Japanese gentleman. The location in the hills surrounded by greenery was perfect for a peaceful getaway.
