We had an amazing Easter weekend at this lodge! the rooms were very comfortable, with hot showers and big cozy beds. the food was excellent, with a wide selection at the buffet. the location was perfect, nestled in the heart of a national park, allowing us to easily go on game drives and witness incredible wildlife. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was the road between Nairobi and the lodge, which can get quite busy and made us a little concerned about road safety at times. However, we still highly recommend taking this route to immerse yourself in the vibrant communities of the Rift Valley.

The rooms and privacy were great. the food was amazing and there was a variety to choose from. the staff were very helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable.

We were disappointed that we had to pay an entrance fee at the park entrance for each night. As foreigners, we felt it was crazy expensive.

Upon arrival at Sarova, I was immediately captivated by the breathtaking location. Nestled in the hills overlooking a picturesque lake, the hotel is truly a natural paradise. The Ziwa Suite, where I stayed, was absolutely stunning with its own terrace and fire pit – the perfect place to unwind and soak in the serene atmosphere. The staff at Sarova went above and beyond, even serenading us with a song and presenting a cake on our last day. It was truly a memorable experience.

One minor drawback was the additional cost for the game park entry. While understandable due to logistics with KWS, it would have been nice if Sarova could offer a discount to alleviate the expense.

The view from our room was breathtaking, with a beautiful lake and lots of greenery. the food was excellent, with a diverse menu and delicious dishes. the staff was very helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. the location was ideal, with easy access to the main gate of the nearby national park.

The only downside was the high entrance fee to the national park, which we had to pay every night. It felt quite expensive, especially for foreign visitors.

During my recent stay at a lodge in Nakuru, I had an exceptional experience. The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service. From setting up the sauna for us to accommodating our missed breakfast due to a sunrise game drive, their attentiveness was truly fantastic. The lodge also made up for the early park closure by providing entertaining activities in the evening. I highly recommend this hotel.

Close proximity to the park, stunning lake views, and abundant wildlife sightings on the drive and during the stay. Professional staff, particularly Karan, provided excellent attention to detail. Delicious food, enjoyed a cozy bonfire and waking up to melodic bird songs. Outstanding service, sauna and breakfast arranged for us, went the extra mile for a memorable experience.

I recently had an amazing stay at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. My wife and I stayed for three days and were blown away by the beautiful views of the lake and game during our drive to the property. The hotel's location inside the park was perfect, and we loved the measures they took to ensure our safety during these times. The team, especially Karan, was professional and attentive to detail. The staff, including Angela, Andrew, Peter, Robert. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed cozy bonfires at night and waking up to the sound of birds singing. We can't wait to visit again soon!

The narrow and rough road leading to the lodge can be a bit daunting, especially when traveling at night.
