The location is tranquil, right by the Mekong River and just a short walk from the shops and restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the made-to-order breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river, which offered a delightful variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The staff consistently went above and beyond, providing excellent service and local insights.

The water pressure in the shower could be better, but it didn't ruin my experience.

My experience at The Belle Rive was bittersweet. While the hotel has a lovely location next to the Mekong River, I found the rooms to be quite dated and in need of refreshment. The soundproofing was also lacking, making it hard to enjoy the serene atmosphere with noise from the street seeping in early each morning.

part of the local community, especially thanks to the wonderful staff who were always smiling and eager to help. The view from our room balcony over the Mekong was stunning, and breakfast there was a highlight of each day. Just wish the lighting was a bit brighter in the dressing area.

Had a fantastic time at this boutique! The morning ritual of breakfast on the terrace was something special, enjoying fresh Laotian coffee with a stunning view of the river! Plus, the staff, especially Damien, are genuinely there for your every need, which made me feel valued.

Additionally, the absence of a door between the bath and sleeping area may present privacy concerns for guests sharing accommodations. Despite minor drawbacks, the overall ambiance and friendly service create a memorable experience.

The well-maintained heritage building adds charm, and the 24-hour breakfast service is convenient. Enjoying the terrace views while having specially curated recommendations to explore the area made the experience even more delightful. Though the room size might feel compact, the free mini bar and engaging staff more than make up for it.
