Beautiful teak rooms with stunning Mekong views. Attentive staff and delicious breakfast. A quiet refuge for escaping and working on projects. Sustainable efforts and vegetarian options add value. Worth more than one night.

We stayed at a lodge in Pakbeng overlooking the Mekong River and it was a great experience. the spacious room and comfortable bed made for a pleasant stay. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast provided and even had dinner at the resort, which was also excellent. the resort's location, about 1 km outside of town, offered a stunning view of the river. One highlight was visiting their impressive vegetable garden. the hotel manager was attentive and welcoming, and we appreciated the hotel's support of the Elephant Sanctuary.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😊

stayed here in pakbeng before, but sanctuary pakbeng lodge was a delightful surprise. the view of the mekong from our balcony was breathtaking, and the staff was extremely helpful. enjoyed the food and the beautiful swimming pool. worth more than just an overnight stop.

Noisy air conditioning kept us up at night.
