I recently stayed at the Birdnest Guesthouse in Kuala Lumpur for a week-long backpacking trip. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Chinatown and within walking distance of Pasar Seni and Sentral. The friendly owner and staff, many of whom were fellow backpackers, made sure we felt welcome and looked after throughout our stay. The loft area was a great place to relax with its stunning city view. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, and the front door required a secure code for added safety. The breakfast, although served hostel-style, was delicious and offered more variety than most. With great air conditioning, plenty of travel information available, and a laid-back atmosphere, this guesthouse is a true gem.

I chose Birdnest for its location and rooftop. Great breakfast and a comfortable spot to chill. Met awesome travelers and loved the friendly cats. Flawless location next to multiple tourist attractions and the train station.

The location is perfect, right in front of the Pasar Seni station and next to multiple tourist attraction spots. The rooftop terrace is a comfortable spot to chill, with a great breakfast served in the morning. The manager, Mr Wandi, is a great soul who made me feel at home and provided helpful travel advice. The roof terrace is a pleasant place to hang out, have a drink, and chat with other guests. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there are two adorable cats living in the hostel, a brown and white one and a black and white one.

The rooftop chill out area was amazing, perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the city. The manager went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The location of the guesthouse is ideal, close to the vibrant Chinese district and the Pasar Seni station. We were able to easily access everything we wanted to see. I highly recommend this guesthouse for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in KL.

The hotel facilities were top-notch, including the AC that worked well and the hot water in the clean bathrooms. The location was perfect, right near Chinatown and the train station. This made it easy for us to explore the city and visit nearby attractions. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and even helped us out when we had issues with our card. The rooftop breakfast and chill area provided a cool and relaxing atmosphere with a beautiful view of the city.

the terrace was a great place to hang out and enjoy the free breakfast, which included tasty bread, jam, and fruit. the guesthouse had a hostel style with lots of international travelers, but I had a private room with AC and fan, which was clean. the check-in process was easy with a 24-hour reception, and the location was convenient, just a 10-minute walk from Pudu Sentral Bus station and close to Chinatown. There was even a MRT station across the street, making it easy to explore the city.
