Our stay at the Blue Mansion was absolutely enchanting. The room we stayed in was the Nanyang room, which had direct access to the pool and garden. It was like having our own private oasis. The historical charm of the hotel is evident in every corner, and the attention to detail in the restoration is impressive. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the high ceilings made the room feel even more spacious. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of the town, with plenty of delicious eateries within walking distance. We also had the opportunity to join the complimentary house tour and learn about the rich history of the mansion. The added perks of cocktails upon arrival, afternoon tea, and a tour made our stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this stunning boutique hotel for a unique and immersive experience.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the spacious rooms with individual garden and pool access, elegant decor, and thoughtful room service. The bar, headed by the talented mixologist Ali, offered excellent drinks in a calm and intimate setting. The historic mansion setting and live Guzheng music created a unique and beautiful ambiance. The breakfast buffet and a la carte options were delicious and well-provisioned. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the reception staff were efficient and polite.

The only downside to this hotel was that the swimming pool was a little small. However, this did not detract from my overall experience and I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

We had a lovely 4-day stay at this historic hotel in Penang. The internal courtyards with reflecting pools, deep blue walls, and red lanterns created a tranquil and zen atmosphere. The extra large and comfortable bed was a pleasure to sleep in. The location is great, close to the seafront and with the Red Garden food center next door. The mansion itself is gorgeous, with plenty of places to relax and chill out. The staff is super friendly, and the bar and cafe on site offer great food and drinks.

As a tourist, I loved the amazing building and the attention to detail throughout. The friendly staff and nice little touches made for a great hotel experience. I also enjoyed the opportunity to learn about the history of the mansion with a guided tour. The communal spaces were beautiful and perfect for sitting and enjoying the breeze. The location was great for exploring the old town and there was a buzzing food court right next door.

What a fantastic stay! The mansion itself was absolutely marvelous, and it was such a privilege to have the opportunity to stay here. The staff were lovely, and the breakfasts were simply amazing. We also had lunch at Indigo, which was delicious and offered great value. And after a hot day exploring the city, it was so nice to take a dip in the pool. The location of the hotel was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance.

The only downside was the wifi, which was pretty terrible unless you were in the lobby. And while the breakfast service was great, I sometimes felt like the staff were always hovering over us.
