Lovely and spacious hostel

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as occasional issues with cleanliness and maintenance, overall I would recommend this hostel for its friendly staff, comfortable beds, and convenient location.

As seasoned business travelers, we were impressed by the clean and tidy living environment at Hornbill's Nest. The newly renovated and segmented rooms are a major improvement from our last visit six years ago. The staff, especially Sharon, provided a warm and welcoming gesture upon our arrival. The early check-in was much appreciated after a tiring flight. We were pleased to see that all guests, regardless of their background, were treated equally. The hospitality extended by Irma, who brought us towels, blankets, and drinks, was delightful. The carefully inspected and neatly folded towels and blankets were a nice touch. The hostel had fantastic WiFi coverage at all levels and we encountered no rowdy or drunk guests during our stay. The airy living spaces with open windows and well-lit walkways added to our overall comfort. The plain-colored walls were a pleasant change from other hostels with dark and gloomy paint choices. The dormitories were well-organized and separated by gender, which suited our preferences.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and always available in the lobby. The hotel was very secure with lockers for storing personal belongings. The cleanliness of the common areas was outstanding, and the room itself was spotless and well-maintained. I chose the room with a window and it was definitely worth the extra cost. It was spacious, filled with natural light, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathrooms were always clean and the staff were constantly cleaning them. Additionally, the location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to the waterfront and nearby attractions. The hotel also provided tea, coffee, and some breakfast items, adding to the convenience. I highly recommend this hotel for its affordable price, friendly staff, cleanliness, and convenient location.
