I had a wonderful stay at Paganakan Dii Retreat and enjoyed being surrounded by the beautiful jungle. The semi outdoor shower overlooking the jungle was a unique and refreshing experience. The mosquito nets over the beds provided some protection against the bugs, although they were a bit torn. The meals at the retreat were tasty and a great value for money. The complimentary transfers to and from the Sepilok tourist highlights were a bonus. I had a great time and would recommend this retreat to others.

The beds were incredibly cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The on-site restaurant offered a variety of affordable dishes, with plenty of vegetarian options. The friendly staff provided transfer services and were always ready to assist. Plus, there was a cat that we couldn't resist petting!

The firefly tour organized by the hotel was a magical and informative experience. a great place to stay in a family-style setting with beautiful views and a welcoming atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay at a charming rustic retreat surrounded by lush greenery. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the jungle. We were thrilled to spot a family of Macaques right outside our room! the buffet meals were delicious and offered plenty of choices. the highlight of our trip was the river boat cruises, where we got to see Orangutans, Crocodiles, Proboscis monkeys, and various birds. the knowledgeable and friendly guides made the experience even more enjoyable. Paganakan Dii Tropical Retreat is a must-stay for every traveler.

And speaking of wildlife, we were amazed by the variety of birds we spotted from our balcony. It was like having our own personal bird watching session every morning. the location of the hotel was perfect for nature lovers like us. It was nestled in the heart of the jungle, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings.

While the overall experience was amazing, there were a few drawbacks. the cleanliness of the cabins left something to be desired.

We also appreciated the convenient shuttle service to the Orangutan Sanctuary, although having a car for more flexibility would be ideal.
