Recently stayed here with my family for two lovely nights. the warm vibe and social common areas were perfect for meeting fellow travelers. the stunning art-filled walls, spacious rooms, and cool terrace added to the charm. the central waterfront location was convenient for exploring, and the accommodating staff made our stay stress-free. They even helped us arrange a last-minute tour at a discounted rate. With great aircon, cleanliness, and free breakfast, our experience was fantastic.

A chaotic mix-up led to a surprising upgrade to a sea-view room with a shower. the energizing coffee was a delightful bonus, but sadly missed the basic breakfast. the staff's warmth trumped the cramped shower. Situated downtown, be prepared to embrace the backpacker vibe and indulge in the simplicity. the surrounding area may seem sketchy, but trust me, it's all good.

Our family had a blast exploring the monkey and bear sanctuaries near the cozy lodge Triplets Oasis. the staff was super kid-friendly and arranged fun tours at amazing prices. Plus, the central location made dining out a breeze!

For dads, a clearer layout for kids' safety.

Had a blast with my mates hitting up HOTEL TRIPLETS ENTERTAINMENT and the vibrant nightlife scene. the staff was hella rad with awesome tour hookups and free brekkie to fuel up for more adventures!

Great sea view room, helpful staff, chill common areas, well-equipped kitchen, variety of social spaces. Cons: Felt totally relaxed, no reason to complain.

The dorms were spacious and with privacy curtains and it’s good with a window down to the street, so you get natural sunlight and the street is very cozy and not so noisy at night. the relaxation area, especially the TV room, was a nice touch after a day of exploring. Being close to landmarks like Three Saint Temple, Sandakan Rainforest Park, and Lankayan Island made our family bonding time truly special.

I absolutely adored the adorable backpacker vibe of the common areas, especially the rooftop terrace with its lovely sea view. It felt so welcoming and cozy, perfect for senior folks like me to relax and soak in the atmosphere. the central location made it very easy for us seniors to access everything we needed, like groceries and restaurants, without having to walk too far.

Would have appreciated more accessible amenities for senior guests.

Always choose this hostel. Helpful staff recommended taxi first stay. Perfect amenities: Wi-Fi, luggage storage, security, laundry. Has TV room, shared kitchen, board games. No pets, AC, non-smoking rooms. Coming back for holiday.
