I recently stayed at this hotel and was impressed by a few things. the value for money was excellent. The prices were reasonable and affordable, especially considering the convenient location. There were plenty of eateries nearby, including a variety of restaurants and hawker stalls. I particularly enjoyed trying the delicious food at the New Lane Street Foodstalls and New World Park Food Court. The staff were also very friendly and provided excellent service. this hotel exceeded my expectations and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The only improvement I would suggest is to provide more variety for breakfast. The current options of plain white bread with butter and 2 choices of jam, accompanied by coffee and tea, felt quite limited.

You can easily access the historical center of the city and other famous streets. Additionally, the staff was nice and helpful, and the breakfast tasted okay, even though there wasn't much choice.

The hygiene of the rooms was a major minus, with stains of different kinds and shapes on bedding and marks on the wall.

This hotel is located right in the city centre, which means that there are plenty of restaurants and hawker stalls within walking distance. The rooms are equipped with everything you need and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are very attentive and provide excellent service. The basic amenities are all provided and the rooms with two single beds are perfect for those travelling with friends. Also, the breakfast is really good with a lot of variety.

As a disabled traveler, I found Summer Tree Hotel to be incredibly accommodating. The spacious and clean room allowed easy mobility, and the movable bed allowed for customization. The hotel provided toothbrushes as part of the amenities, which was a pleasant surprise. Located in the heart of Penang, the hotel was conveniently situated near all the best food stalls and attractions. The availability of parking spaces in the hotel's basement and across the road made it hassle-free to bring a vehicle. The counter staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive. They were always ready to help with any issues or questions we had.

The only downside we experienced was that the room lacked soundproofing, which made it a bit noisy at times. However, this was a minor inconvenience and didn't significantly impact our overall stay.

Great location with free and easy parking. Loved that there were complementary amenities like towels and toiletries provided in the room. the comfortable bed was the cherry on top!

The lack of soundproofing in the rooms made it quite difficult to sleep through a storm and also allowed noises from other guests to be heard. the cleanliness of the bathroom was not up to par and the one bin in the room was not enough for our needs.
