This hotel is a hidden gem in a prime location, just a short walk from the heart of Georgetown. The attention to detail in the authentic retro decor and restored architecture creates a unique and nostalgic atmosphere. We loved the spacious Courtyard duplex room with its private terrace overlooking the charming indoor courtyard. The staff provided excellent service, offering us complimentary upgrades and serving us delicious local Penang food for breakfast.

No major issues were found, just a small suggestion for improvement.

What a delightful surprise! The antique furniture, the majestic atmosphere, and the owner's warm welcome made me feel like a queen. Love Lane was buzzing at night, but my room was an oasis of peace.

Breakfast was like a snack for a mouse. My partner had to find another meal after to satisfy his hunger.

Had an OK time during my new year stay. The hotel was in a good location, just a short walk from the main attractions. The courtyard duplex room was large and reasonably quiet, with a decent shower. , Jane, the host, was helpful in providing information about the local area and offered a day tour that was quite unique.

The breakfast choice was poor and the staff were not very accommodating regarding the breakfast time. We had to negotiate for an earlier breakfast, as the usual breakfast time was rather late.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, being near a great area of Penang. It was still close to most attractions, making it convenient for exploring. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind after a long day. The staff were friendly and accommodating, offering helpful suggestions for places to eat nearby. Additionally, the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying.

The proximity to the street made it impossible to sleep peacefully at times, as the noise from outside could be quite disruptive.

The B&B is full of character with its old-style furniture and furnishings. The lounge area on the ground level is a nice place to relax. The staff were pleasant and helpful, providing great service. The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance in Georgetown.

Felt right at home, nothing to complain about.

During my stay at this intimate hotel, I had the pleasure of experiencing a private meal prepared by the Nepali chef, and I must say it was superb. The owner/manager, Kit, creates a warm and homely ambience, making me feel right at home. The room, although a bit hot and noisy due to its location by the street, was still comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The staff, including Jane, the manager, were very attentive and helpful, providing useful information and organizing tours. I highly recommend this excellent new guesthouse for anyone looking for a fantastic location and a charming atmosphere.

Our stay at You Le Yuen was a delightful experience. The charming and unique room design, with a separate living area and bedroom, made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and a vibrant nightlife. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Breakfast, although basic, was cooked with love and served with a smile. we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this boutique hotel.
