I recently had the most amazing stay at a beautiful little island in Makunudhoo. Makunudu Island is a true paradise, with lush vegetation and a stunning reef teeming with fish, turtles, and even sharks. the snorkeling and diving tours to nearby islands were organized perfectly, allowing me to explore the underwater world. the beaches were pristine, and the private huts were authentic and charming, each with its own attached beach. the food was delicious, with a la carte options for lunch and dinner, and the staff were courteous and always had a smile on their faces. the sunset bar served yummy drinks, and I also enjoyed a massage, which added to the authentic Robinson Crusoe experience. Despite the lack of a pool, snorkeling and sunbathing all day made up for it. I highly recommend Makunudu Island for a truly memorable vacation, and I can't wait to go back for another amazing 7-day stay. Thank you for the incredible experience!

Amazing vacation, exceeded expectations, professional and kind staff, cosy and stylish villa, beautiful sea and snorkeling, delicious and fresh food.

Spent my xmas holidays in a charming and romantic island resort. the staff was welcoming and provided us with a tasty meal, including a beef steak and a bottle of red wine, served as a la carte. Enjoyed snorkeling near our villa and observing different types of fish and coral. Also loved the small and intimate feel of the resort, perfect for relaxation.

The beach was quite small, so we could often see other people nearby. the terrace could have been more spacious.

Makunudu Island offers a stunning location very close to nature, with bungalows that are right down to the water's edge. This allows guests to easily enjoy activities such as snorkeling right off the beach and exploring the best reef in the area. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with small touches like an outdoor tap and a clothesline adding convenience. The service is attentive and friendly, and the breakfast offers plenty of delicious options.

Some guests mentioned that the dinner menu may not cater well to those with simple or plain tastes, as the food can be on the stronger side with fish, curry, and rich sauces.

I had an amazing time at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location was perfect, right on the beach, with small coves and a bay just next to the dive school. The hotel was beautifully designed, with bungalows on a wooden platform over the shore. The service was top-notch, with room service, dry cleaning, and housekeeping taking care of all my needs. The staff were friendly and professional, especially Danni the customer relations manager, who made sure everything was perfect. The food at the dining restaurant was delicious, with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The spa and wellness center was a great place to relax and unwind, and the beach access was a bonus.

The staff need proper management and training, but overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

I had the most amazing time snorkeling at Makunudu Island. The abundance of beautiful fish and coral was truly breathtaking. I even had the incredible experience of swimming alongside a sea turtle. The water was crystal clear and the marine life was vibrant. It was like swimming in a real-life aquarium. I highly recommend this hotel for any nature lover or snorkeling enthusiast like myself.

Our stay at Makunudu Island was absolutely amazing! We spent a few days on this beautiful island, surrounded by nature. The beach bungalows were stunning, and the staff provided exemplary service. The house reef just a few meters from the shore allowed for incredible snorkeling experiences. The snorkeling excursions to Turtle Point and Manta Point were unforgettable, swimming with turtles and mantas. The dive instructors Claudia and Ricardo were fantastic, and the underwater world was a rainbow of colors. We will definitely be coming back to this little slice of paradise!
