As a solo traveler, I loved the friendly and helpful staff. The room with a sea view was exactly as shown in the photos and the hotel overall was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the free bikes were a nice bonus.

We had an amazing stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is perfect, nestled in a quiet and peaceful beach area. We were able to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean view from our room balcony. The beach right in front of the hotel was pristine and offered a tranquil atmosphere. The hotel staff, especially the manager, provided exceptional service and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. We were impressed with the room amenities, especially the extra large king size bed which provided enhanced comfort. The bathroom with its rain shower was a delightful experience. The hotel's restaurant was a highlight, especially dinner by the beach which was a truly memorable experience. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. We highly recommend trying the black sesame tuna as an appetizer!

We had a fabulous stay at Velana Beach Hotel in Maafushi. The room was amazing, exceeding our expectations, and the meals were delicious. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The manager even arranged a private boat transfer for us at a low cost. The ambiance of the room and the resort's location were both superb. we highly recommend Velana Beach Hotel for a superior experience and quality stay.

The restaurant prices were a bit expensive, and it would have been nice if they provided complimentary mosquito repellent and snorkeling gear.

Spent Xmas at this hotel and it was amazing! Breakfast buffet was outstanding with a wide range of options and fresh fruits. the hotel location was unbeatable, steps away from the pristine beach and close to restaurants and shops. Loved the water activities offered, the sunset fishing was a highlight.

The rooms were small and lacked natural light, but manageable for a short stay. the staff was polite but could be more attentive, we had to ask for more towels and bathroom amenities.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, amazing ocean view, delicious breakfast, close to non-tourist beach.
