Breathtaking views from the balcony made mornings magical. Funicular access was a huge plus, allowing easy exploration of the city without hassle.

Inconsistent hot water made for frustrating showers. The steep stair access was quite a workout after a day full of exploring.

Our room had a lekker view, like a postcard! The brekkie was simple but tasty, and the funicular pass was such a bonus to get around. Staff at reception were friendly and made us feel right at home, ag man!

Just a heads up, it was a bit tricky to find the place from the taxi drop-off. You gotta carry your bags down some steps, so keep it light if you can.

balcon del cielo is an awesome spot! the views from the balcony room are truly stunning. it's so convenient, just a few minutes to the centro via the funicular, and the wifi was stable enough for remote work. the breakfast room service had a decent variety, and everything was kept spotless by housekeeping.

absolutely loved the view, but the constant sewer smell? gross. The slamming doors just had to be locked with an umbrella, hilarious! also, I was shocked they didn’t offer a complimentary gesture for my trouble, you'd think they would recognize a guest like me deserves red-carpet treatment, right? almost gave 4 stars, just couldn't, 🤷‍♂️

Wi-Fi in room was practically non-existent. the bathroom ventilation opened to a noisy passageway!!! It took ages for the shower to warm up, and the sink had no cold water at all!!! The lack of an elevator made carrying luggage a workout, especially after a long day!!!

The complimentary access to the funicular was a pleasant surprise. The modern decor and rain shower in our updated room were great touches, but navigating the steps from the taxi drop-off was a bit challenging with luggage.
