I recently stayed at Barceló Maya Colonial for 2 weeks and it was an amazing experience. The beaches were clean and calm, perfect for relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful, always pointing us in the right direction without any pressure to upsell. The all-inclusive package was excellent, with delicious food and plenty of snack bars and pool bars to choose from. The resort facilities were well-maintained, with beautiful beaches, swimming pools, and even activities like tennis and surfing. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for families. I highly recommend this hotel.

The food at the buffet and restaurants was exquisite. The all-inclusive package offered a lot of activities. The installations were well-designed and maintained. The service was outstanding, with early check-in and late check-out options.

The location of the hotel is great for those who want to explore outside of the resort. There are many Riviera restaurants in Marenostrum, offering a variety of dining options. On the beach, you can find vendors selling tours, hats, sunglasses, and jewelry, which adds a lively atmosphere. The hotel also has long trails for walks and plenty of space for different activities.

The downside is that the premium lounge customer service can be disappointing, as one guest mentioned in a review.

I got great value for my money at this hotel. The room was comfortable, the location was perfect, and the staff treated me like a VIP.

The room was clean and comfortable, making it a perfect choice for families. Despite the resort being full, we didn't feel crowded except during breakfast. a wonderful experience at Barcelo Colonial.

The room was comfortable with great temperature control and excellent cleanliness. The buffet had perfect food, especially during the Spanish night, and the service at Santa Fe restaurant was excellent. The all-inclusive package provided a variety of activities, including kayaking and paddle boarding. The facilities were well-designed and maintained, including the Jaguar Disco and Plaza Mexicana. The service was outstanding, with early check-in and late check-out options, extra showers and changing rooms, and helpful and friendly staff.
