Our stay at Melia Casa Maya felt like a vacation in a friendly neighborhood rather than a generic resort! The beach was stunningly beautiful, like a postcard come to life, and the pools were always warm—so warm, you'd think they were infused with the spirit of a lazy cat! The room we stayed in was huge, came with a full kitchen, and a view that made our morning coffee a scenic event. Plus, the hotel's staff treated us like family, always ensuring we were having fun and getting a round of volleyball in every afternoon!

Melia Casa Maya Cancun offers spacious rooms and a beautiful beach, making it great for families. While the staff showed dedication and care, with standout service from Victor and Claudia, there were occasional issues with room conditions. It's a nice option for a family getaway, but some amenities need improvement for a smooth experience.

Beach vibes were glorious, with warm and clear waters perfect for wading and snorkeling! The staff were super friendly and accommodating, ensuring every meal was tasty and made us feel welcome.

Room issues dampened spirits. initial mix-up with bed arrangements left us bewildered and the concierge wasn't too helpful. Difficulties arose with inconsistent dining reservations, making mealtimes stressful instead of enjoyable.

I stayed here for 3 nights to relax and enjoy the beach. The private beach access was fantastic, allowing me to soak up the sun every morning. I also loved the spacious suite with a kitchen and dining area, which made my stay comfortable. The breakfast and dinner buffet provided a solid variety of food, and the pools remained open late into the evening, perfect for unwinding after a day in the sun.

melia is one of the most affordable spots in the hotel zone. i traveled alone with my two kids, and it was super easy to get around since the bus is just 13 pesos. the beach is stunning, and the pools were really well kept. our room was spacious and had basic appliances. the recreational amenities were great too, especially the tennis courts.

The restaurant options leave much to be desired with only one indoor meal option at breakfast!!! A consistent menu theme could enhance the dining experience!!! The room lighting layout feels insufficient—two lights near the beds don’t provide enough brightness!!!

the only downside was having to wash my own dishes. but the spacious room was clean. and the beach access was easy. staff provided great service and the breakfast was tasty with fresh fruits

the breakfast was really good every morning! I even made friends at the bar during happy hour and we ended up sharing some laughs over 2 for 1 drinks, felt like family. my room was spacious and clean, it had everything I needed even a nice balcony to chill out on.

It was just a smart choice for a short-term stay in Cancun with decent value for money. The food at the Italian restaurant was actually pretty decent, with good service from the staff. Be prepared for possible confusion at the restaurants regarding reservations, so ask ahead.
