We loved staying at Casa Shiva by the lake! The location was amazing, with picturesque views from our balcony and steps away from the beautiful dock. The availability of kayaks allowed us to explore the Pirates canal without needing a boat tour. The colors of the lake were so mesmerizing, it felt like a painting. The family room we stayed in had a stunning view of the lagoon, and it was spotlessly clean. The freshly cooked to order breakfast, although with some additional charges, was delicious. The warm and refreshing lagoon was perfect for swimming, and we enjoyed kayaking around the little island. Having a rental car was convenient for exploring the town, which was just a short drive away.

the upgraded room provided the best view of the lakeside, with a peer that offered breathtaking scenery. the location was perfect, as all Bacalar boat trips made stops right next to the hotel. the facilities had free kayaks available, and the pristine waters allowed for swimming right from the peer. the staff was friendly and the environment was quiet, allowing for a truly relaxing experience. I wish I could have stayed longer to fully enjoy everything this place had to offer.

We absolutely loved our stay at this 4-star hotel! The location, right in front of the lagoon, was breathtaking. We had a bungalow right by the water, which provided us with amazing views. The hotel also offered free kayaks and paddleboards for guests, which we highly recommend trying out. The service from the staff was exceptional - they were friendly and always helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioning was a definite plus in the hot and humid weather. this place provided us with enhanced comfort and quality services, making our stay here truly luxurious.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday and enjoyed our time at the hotel. the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch and we appreciated the variety of options. the location of the hotel was ideal with easy access to the lagoon and other beautiful areas.
