I recently stayed at Hotel Colonial De in Merida for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town yet surprisingly peaceful at night. They even showed genuine care and attention when my friend injured her hand. The rooftop garden was a highlight of our stay, offering stunning views of the city and a peaceful spot to enjoy our morning coffee. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a wide variety of options to choose from each day. a fantastic hotel experience.

We had a great time staying in this hotel. Its location was perfect, right in the city center and close to the cathedral, but not in a noisy area. The air conditioners had a "wave" mode which made our room very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offered a wide range of options. The hotel was constantly being cleaned and sanitized, with fresh cold water available on all floors.

We did notice that there were some noise disturbances from other guests during our stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was absolutely wonderful - extremely helpful and kind. They made sure that my limited Spanish wasn't a problem by always having someone available to assist me. The location of the hotel was great, especially for someone like me who was visiting the area for the first time. There were plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it easy to find everything I needed. The breakfast buffet at the hotel was also very good, and at only $7 US, it was a great deal.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

The location of the hotel was excellent, just a short walk away from the main square and surrounded by various restaurants and cafes. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and accommodating during my stay. I also enjoyed the rooftop area, which provided a quiet retreat with a great view of the downtown area.

There were a few drawbacks to my stay. the walls of the room were quite thin, resulting in a lot of noise from both inside and outside the hotel.

Loved the small, cozy pool - perfect for squeezing in between the tourists. The air-conditioned room saved me from melting in the Mexican heat. Free Wi-Fi kept me entertained while ignoring my travel companions.

The rooms were not well maintained, and they lacked natural light. the noise level was high, which made it difficult to have a good night's sleep.

The location was fantastic, with numerous restaurants and attractions within walking distance. I also appreciated the free parking, which was just a few blocks away. The swimming pool provided a refreshing break from the heat and was well-maintained. The staff was friendly and eager to help with luggage, and fresh cold water was available on all floors. Despite the minor drawbacks of a cramped bathroom and occasional noise from other guests, overall I had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel.
