my stay at hacienda del caribe was, simply put, a disaster. the shower had no hot water, and the staff acted like they woudl ve been personally offended if I asked for something like an upgrade. I almost thought about leaving a good review, but I just couldn’t with the moldy room smell and rude service.

Plunge pool and courtyard were unexpected delights.

Howay, man! This hotel was canny lush, like. The spacious room was like a breath of fresh air, but the lack of hot water was a right pain. Proper close to the beach and all the action, though. Would consider stayin' again, just hopin' they fix the water, you know?

Great location and free wi-fi. I loved the spa treatments, especially the head massage. No fridge, though.

This hotel was a commendable fit for strolling around in Playa del Carmen with good price value. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay much better. If you're not into nightlife, try to find a room that faces away from the main strip to avoid noise.

I had such a fantastic stay! The king room was spacious and full of natural light. The shower pressure was amazing. However, there was a bit too much street noise at night for light sleepers. I'd definitely come back!

Location is ideal, just a short walk from the beach and dining options, like a spot that serves great grilled fish. However, the breakfast selection was disappointing, with limited choices on the second day, despite a nearby alternative hotel providing a more satisfying option.
