Our romantic escape was perfect for the most part. the setting was amazing, with comfortable and stylish rooms. We especially loved the fact that we had access to kayaks and paddle boards at no additional cost. the hotel offered a continental breakfast which included a platter of fresh fruit and granola. the location was great, with plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance.

Some aspects didn't meet our expectations. While the staff were friendly, the Wi-Fi was not reliable.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and well-designed with a fantastic shower. The hotel is located close to the lake, allowing for beautiful views from the balcony. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing a complimentary light breakfast and free use of kayaks and paddle boards. The hotel facilities, including the swimming pool and bar, were excellent. The location was convenient, with the main town within walking distance and easy access to the laguna.

I recently stayed at a beautiful hotel in the Bacalar area, situated right on the lagoon. The location was perfect, with easy access to a nearby beach club where I could enjoy the sun and water. The interior design of the hotel was stylish and modern, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a fantastic shower in the bathroom. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable. The breakfast provided was simple but tasty, with options like fresh fruit and toast with butter and jam. I also had access to kayaks and paddle boards, which was a pleasant surprise.

There was some noise from the neighboring beach club that could be bothersome at times.

The location of Carolina was absolutely breathtaking, situated right on the beautiful lake. Our villa had a balcony with a hammock, perfect for relaxing and taking in the stunning views. The room was modern and had a beach-inspired vibe. We loved that we had complimentary access to kayaks and paddleboards, allowing us to explore the lake at our leisure. The hotel also had a great dining area outside by the lagoon, where we enjoyed delicious meals. The beds were comfortable, and the showers were excellent. The WiFi was reliable, allowing us to stay connected when needed. we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Carolina.

One minor drawback was the spotty WiFi in the room, but it forced us to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, the lack of a mini fridge in the room and the higher food prices were a bit inconvenient.
