we had a great experience staying at Makaaba Eco-Boutique. Check-in was quick and easy, and we were even able to check-in early. the location of the hotel is ideal, with it being within walking distance of the town center, yet still quiet. the design of the property is unique and eco-friendly, with interesting elements like hammocks over the pool and swings over the water. the bar and lounge area provided a great atmosphere for relaxing and enjoying the pool view. the shower was excellent, with hot water and fluffy towels. the included breakfast was delicious, with various options to choose from.

The location of this hotel is amazing, with striking views. the luxury amenities in the hotel lived up to my exclusive desires. the rooftop pool and sun terrace offer a stunning view of the surroundings and are perfect for relaxation.

The service was disorganized as we had to remind the staff twice to clean our room.

The value for money was excellent, the room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to the water and town center. The staff treated us with warmth and kindness throughout our stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Makaaba Eco-Boutique. the staff, including Katia and Jasmine, were extremely friendly and helpful. the rooms, although small, were very clean and comfortable. the pool area was a great place to relax, both during the day and at night, with a bar available for drinks. the breakfast was exceptional, especially the Conchinita Pibil taco that was absolutely amazing. the hotel's central location allowed for easy walking access to the town center and the lagoon. It's truly the best place to enjoy the beauty of Bacalar.

The breakfast served here is fantastic, with a variety of options to choose from. The sitting areas throughout the hotel are a great addition, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

One negative aspect is that the bathroom in some of the rooms is separated from the main area by a curtain instead of a solid door. This can lack some privacy for guests.
