I had a fantastic stay at Iberostar Selection! The facilities were top-notch, the food was delicious, and the service was exceptional. I especially loved the live music during the Merengue/Salsa class. The beach was beautiful, and the clear water was perfect for swimming. I highly recommend this hotel.

The activities at the pool and beach were so much fun, and the food at the buffets catered to everyone's dietary needs. The fresh produce at every meal was a pleasant surprise. The entertainment, especially the live music at the Merengue/Salsa class, was top-notch. The junior suite with a full ocean view was perfect, and the lobby area and corridors were beautiful. The property itself was well-maintained and the beach was huge. The staff was always friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Although the room was beachfront, it felt a bit moist, making the sheets a little uncomfortable. Additionally, there were too many sales pitches throughout the day, which made it a bit overwhelming.

As a larger group of friends, we were thrilled with the variety of food options available to us. The buffets catered to all dietary needs and restrictions, including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and more. The fresh produce at every meal was a standout feature. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel like valued guests. Marco and Marcelo went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even remembering our names and keeping us informed about upcoming events. The activities were excellent, with a special mention to the Merengue/Salsa class that featured live music from the talented "Star Band." the entertainment and classes at Iberostar Selection Playa Mita far exceeded our expectations and previous experiences at other resorts.

The night shows were entertaining, especially the impressive performances by the talented mariachi band. The bartenders and their helpers were top-notch, serving delicious drinks with a smile.

The seafood buffet, in particular, served frozen and tasteless seafood, except for the jumbo shrimp. The night club lacked a DJ, which made it less exciting and somewhat dull.

The location of the resort was excellent, right on the beach which made for stunning views! the staff was really friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile. I also liked that they offered two complementary facts which were really appreciated. the pool was also a great place for socializing and meeting new people.

We even walked by a few of them during dinner hours and saw that they weren't close to capacity. It would have also been nice to have more dining options and food service available by the beach.

During my Christmas vacation, I was impressed by the beautiful beach in front of the property and the well-maintained rooms. the room attendants did a great job in keeping the rooms clean. Additionally, I enjoyed the food at the steakhouse, Japanese, and French restaurants. the quality of the food in these establishments was really good, which was a pleasant surprise. the beach restaurant also served delicious fish tacos, ceviche tostadas, and refreshing drinks. the night shows were entertaining, especially the energetic performances by the singers and dancers. the mariachi show was definitely a highlight. the bartenders and their helpers were also very friendly and made great drinks.

One aspect that I did not like was the VIP area and the constant promotion of their membership program. It felt a bit pushy and took away from the overall experience.
