The room was cozy and clean, nestled in the heart of Xalapa, just steps away from great coffee shops and local attractions. Enjoyed a good variety of breakfast options, and the staff always greeted us with warmth.

However, the key card system was a hassle, often needing to be unblocked. The air conditioning felt dated, and at times, traffic noise from the street made it challenging to unwind at night.

Outstanding location near Parque Juarez with eateries.

My experience at Hotel Maria Victoria Xalapa was far from pleasant. We faced consistent issues with the key cards, which were frequently being blocked, forcing us to make multiple trips to the reception to get them unblocked. To top it off, the air conditioning unit was ancient and barely worked, and the noise from the street outside was unbearable, making it extremely hard to get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the lack of hairdryers in the rooms and the slow service further diminished the quality of our stay.

Super lekker location, right near the cathedral and juiced with cool coffee spots. The staff were so friendly, made us feel like chommies. Brekkie was great with a ton of options, really filled us up for the day!

Just a heads up, the WiFi was a bit slow, but who needs that when you’re in such a beautiful city?

We loved staying at this hotel with our family of four! The location was awesome, just a short stroll from the cool anthropology museum and plenty of other attractions. Our room was tall, clean, and comfy, a perfect base for our adventures!

My wife says that traffic noise outside was bothersome.

The room was spotlessly clean with a comfy king bed. Loved the daily changing of towels and linens. Great coffee spots around!

The location is fantastic, right next to Parque Juarez and a plethora of restaurants and activities. The breakfast options were delicious and served promptly, which really kickstarted my day (loved the fresh pastries! ).

The room could use a bit of renovation to enhance its appeal, and perhaps adding more lighting options would make it even cozier.
