We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The beautiful old colonial architecture impressed us, and the location was perfect with a short 5-10 minute walk to the main centro plaza. The fact that they provided a safe parking lot on the premises near the center of town was a major convenience for us. The complimentary breakfast was really good, offering a hot full breakfast with options like chilaquiles or eggs made to our liking, along with coffee, fruit or fresh squeezed orange juice. The staff was generally friendly and helpful, making our experience even more enjoyable.

We got great value for our money at Hacienda Monteverde. The room was spacious and comfortable, with lovely furniture and bedding. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the main attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even better.

The morning meal could have been improved by offering more variety.

The hotel was in a great location, very close to the artisan craft market and within a 10 minute walk of the center of town. the rooms were simple, yet nice and comfortable. the complementary breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with scrambled eggs and your choice of ham, sausage, or bacon, as well as beans, tortillas. I also loved the rustic-Mexican decoration of the hotel, and the small garden where you could relax and have breakfast.

One downside was that the rooms seemed a bit outdated, with older furnishings and carpet that made them feel less clean. Additionally, the staff at the front desk were not always friendly or helpful, and one person was particularly rude.
