I recently stayed at Penasco Del Sol for a weekend getaway. The staff were amazing, always smiling and ready to offer excellent customer service. The food was good, especially the Taco Stand at the pool snack bar and the buffet on the beach. The pools were great, with two of them heated for colder months. I chose a king suite with an ocean view and the room had a comfortable bed and a nice view over the beach. a fantastic stay with breathtaking views and close proximity to all the action.

Would recommend this hotel.

Staff is friendly, lobby and pool area are beautiful, room views are excellent, breakfast buffet and lunch were great, sandy beach area is relaxing and picturesque.

The hotel had reasonable room prices and self parking down the street was not an issue. The property grounds were well maintained and the staff was friendly. The pool area was nice with plenty of lounge chairs, a volleyball court, volleyball net in the pool, a foosball table, and beach balls and volleyballs available for check-out. The hotel was conveniently located on the beach and adjacent to it, allowing for easy access to water activities such as renting jet skis or going on a banana float ride. The private beach outside the hotel grounds was a great place to relax and enjoy the view, with palapas and lounge chairs provided. The hotel also had a restaurant onsite, and free parking was available. staying at this hotel was a great experience and we will definitely return.

Nothing to fault.

The hotel was in the center, on the upper beach, with a beautiful beach nearby. The swim-up bar was a nice addition to the facilities. The staff was friendly and attentive.

No included meals for the price.

This hotel offers great value for money with affordable prices and excellent views. The staff are very attentive and provide excellent service. The basic amenities in the rooms, such as a safe and amazing view, make the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, the breakfast offered at this hotel is delicious and reasonably priced.

No major issues, everything was satisfactory.

I had a fantastic stay at Penasco Del Sol. The ocean view from my suite was breathtaking and the staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The lobby, dining area, and pool were all wonderful and exceeded my expectations. Despite a few minor inconveniences, like the lack of a smoking section and aggressive waiters, the overall experience was superb. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great service, from friendly front desk to excellent service in restaurants and pool bar. Beautiful ocean view from room and short walk to beach. Appreciated large bathroom towels and balcony with scenic view. Will definitely return and stay again.

During our Easter getaway, we had a fantastic time at a beachfront hotel. The staff was friendly, and the rooms and facilities were very clean. We loved that the hotel had a swim-up pool bar, making it convenient for us to grab a refreshing drink while enjoying a dip in the pool. The location was also perfect, with plenty of restaurants nearby for us to explore. And of course, the best part was being able to relax either in the pools or take a short walk down to the beautiful beach.

While our overall experience was great, there were a few downsides. The walls were a bit thin, which meant that we could occasionally hear noise from neighboring rooms.

The hotel's location was a major draw and quite convenient, as it was close to a nice beach and within walking distance of a popular fish market. The pool and outdoor seating area were lovely, and the overall service was attentive and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with air conditioning, offering a nice respite from the heat.

Some aspects of the hotel could use a little attention, such as the outdated bathroom fixtures, and some occasional noise disturbances, which could disrupt sleep.

The breathtaking views of the Sea of Cortez from the pool and gardens are simply stunning. It's like a living postcard - every glance takes your breath away. Waking up to such beauty made me feel like I was in a real-life painting.

Our family had an incredible time at this oasis playground! The location of the hotel, just a stone's throw away from the gorgeous beaches, offered us breathtaking sea vistas and delightful dune landscapes.

My kids wished for more diverse food options at the buffet.

The hotel had a great view and beautiful beach, friendly and helpful staff, clean grounds and pool, good wifi, reasonable pricing.

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The restaurant and service were excellent, with friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The spa on site was perfect for pampering. Great for friends who enjoy going out at nights.

Felt most welcome, no complaints at all.
