I recently stayed at Porto Playa in downtown Playa del Carmen for a week. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the city, yet it's on a quiet street, ensuring a peaceful stay. The penthouse I stayed in was a luxurious gem with its own jaccuzi on a private roof deck. The hotel facilities are top-notch, including a fantastic gym and three excellent restaurants nearby. The spacious accommodation, comfortable beds, and large showers were all standout features. The pool and fountain added to the overall relaxing atmosphere.

Great place to stay in Playa! Friendly and helpful staff, pleasant environment with a gorgeous swimming pool, and comfy beds. the hotel location is fantastic, right near all the restaurants and bars. Two invaluable complementary amenities: a beach club with free access, where you can enjoy a lounging area and beach umbrellas and towels. the hotel offers a personalized concierge service that helped us to book tours and gave recommendations for excursions that were amazing.

There was construction noise near our room which started early in the morning, disrupting our sleep. every night we could hear loud music coming from a close-by bar until late at night, which was not family-friendly.
