I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was amazing - they were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The hotel itself had tons of character and the rooms were clean and spacious. The best part was the comfortable bed - it was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, not just in Mexico but anywhere! The breakfast was also great, and I loved the warm and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The location was away from the main tourist strip, but not far from the main area of town, especially if you don't mind walking across the RR tracks.

I also loved the fact that the hotel organized car trips to nearby attractions and offered bicycle rental, making it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. The cozy atmosphere created by the constant fire in the fireplace in the common area was a nice touch, and the cleaning standards were excellent. Despite the difficulty in heating the bathroom, there was always plenty of hot water, and the gas oven provided efficient heating for the rest of the room. The ongoing expansion at the hotel shows their commitment to continuous improvement, and I would definitely choose to stay here again.
