The hosts, Hector and his parents, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making me feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and a clean bathroom. The villa itself had a unique history, which the hosts were happy to share. The courtyard was a peaceful oasis, and the WiFi was excellent throughout. I also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and the option to do laundry. I can't recommend Villa Alfonsina enough for a cozy and memorable stay in Coyoacan.

I also felt safe walking around the neighborhood, even at night. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, each with its own private bathroom. The hosts, Hector and Minerva, went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. From providing valuable recommendations for local eateries to organizing a tour to Teotihuacan at a reasonable price, they were always there to help. The neighborhood felt safe, even in the late evening, and we enjoyed exploring the bohemian and tranquil atmosphere of Coyoacan. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing experience at Villa Alfonsina. The warm and welcoming family made us feel like we were visiting family. The room and amenities were exactly as described, and the location was fantastic. Hector, who is an Archaeologist fluent in Spanish, English, and Japanese, was incredibly helpful with recommendations for the local area and beyond. He even took us on a day trip to Teotihuacán, which was an awesome experience.

Great location across from Frida Kahlo House, walking distance to Mercado Coyoacan and el Centro. Authentic Mexican experience with vendors during Day of the Dead celebrations. Best bed and linen in Mexico. Helpful and kind hosts. Cozy kitchen for simple meals.
