I flew into Cancun and drove to Villa Marilu B&B in Bacalar for a 2-night stay. Eduardo was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even waiting up for us when we arrived late. The directions to the hotel were easy to follow, and the road conditions were not a problem. Our room was clean and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the lagoon. The continental breakfast was delicious, and the private pier with hammocks was a great place to relax. Eduardo provided great recommendations for activities and restaurants, and even surprised my daughter with a birthday cake. The staff made us feel like friends, and we can't wait to come back.

The location of the B&B was perfect, with a private pier leading to a deck over the water, where we could relax in hammocks and enjoy the stunning view. The complimentary kayaks allowed us to explore the beautiful Laguna and nearby attractions. The spacious rooms and delicious continental breakfast added to the overall exceptional experience. If I had to summarize my stay in one word, it would be "paradise.

I recently stayed at a beautiful B&B in Bacalar and had an amazing experience. Villa Marilu exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was perfect, right on the water and just a short drive to town. The cozy atmosphere with only 4 rooms made it feel like a hidden gem. The continental breakfast was generous, and the spacious room and bathroom were great for sharing. The private pier with a deck over the water, hammocks, and chairs was perfect for relaxation. The manager, Eduardo, was a fantastic resource for things to do and places to eat. I especially appreciated his help in surprising my daughter with a delicious birthday cake. I wish we had stayed longer and spent less time in overcrowded Tulum.

I recently stayed at Villa Marilu B&B for a few days and had a fantastic time. The location was perfect - close to the city center, cenotes, and with easy access to kayaking in the serene laguna. The views from the property were absolutely stunning. Eduardo, the host, was incredibly helpful and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. His margaritas were the best we've had in Mexico. The hotel itself was well-maintained and the rooms were comfortable. We loved relaxing on the dock and balcony, taking in the beauty of the lagoon. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was spacious, clean, and cozy, with a great air conditioning system. And let's not forget the breakfast! I enjoyed it every morning on the jetty, taking in the breathtaking view. Eduardo, the host, was warm and welcoming, always there to answer any questions and provide helpful tips about the city. I truly felt taken care of during my stay.

While my stay was overall fantastic, I did wish that the room had a mini fridge for convenience. However, the hosts were kind enough to allow us to use the refrigerator and kitchen in the main house, which was very accommodating.

Pour une halte sur la route, cet hôtel est parfaitement situé avec un supermarché à proximité pour faciliter les courses. La chambre que nous avons occupée était propre et confortable, et la salle de bains était bien entretenue. Le personnel était accueillant et attentif à nos besoins. De plus, le petit-déjeuner proposait du pain frais, des confitures et du Nutella, ce qui était suffisant pour bien commencer la journée.

L'extérieur de l'hôtel aurait pu être plus propre, avec des déchets laissés sur le parking.
