During my stay over Christmas, I was pleased with the amenities provided at this hotel. the pool was clean and inviting, with multiple cleanings throughout the day. Additionally, the hotel had good WiFi access and even offered two computers with internet access in the business center. the location of the hotel was also convenient, with a helpful concierge desk and a shuttle van to the airport.

There were a few aspects that I did not enjoy during my stay. the service in the bar and lounge area was not as good as in the restaurant.

The location by the Indian Ocean was breathtaking. We enjoyed the beautiful beachfront and the infinity pool with stunning views. The staff provided excellent service, fulfilling all our needs from room service to laundry. The room was immaculately clean and well-equipped, with all the amenities we could ask for like air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast and the variety of dining options available, from the restaurant to the bar/lounge area.

We highly recommend this place to all our friends. They will definitely enjoy the beach access and the comfortable amenities provided.

I stayed at Southern Sun for the third time and it was truly awesome. The rooms have a charming old feel and the bar is cozy. The hotel offers a wide selection of food and is extremely responsive to emails and guest requests. The location and view are fantastic, especially if you have a sea-facing room. The staff are professional, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast is fabulous and the room is very comfortable.

Great location near the beach, perfect for sun lovers. the hotel offers easy access to bars and restaurants facing the beach. the swimming pool is centrally situated with a nice garden. the rooms are comfortable and the room service is satisfactory. the breakfast provided is good.

The gardeners need to be more considerate with their timing of operation, as they were operating their lawn mowers during breakfast time. the gym facilities could also use some improvement.

We got great value for our money at Southern Sun! Our room was lovely with a terrace and ocean views, and the staff treated us so well. The location was perfect, right on the beach.

I recently stayed at Southern Sun in Maputo for a week-long vacation. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The beautiful and high-standard facilities, delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of food, and relaxing pool area all made for a memorable stay. The staff provided excellent service throughout, and I particularly want to mention Goge at reception for their amazing assistance. The surprise room upgrade and thoughtful touches to celebrate our wedding anniversary made it even more special. The cleanliness of the hotel and friendly, helpful staff were also standout features. We will definitely be returning in the future!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location was absolutely breathtaking, right on the beach with stunning views of the Indian Ocean. The service here was exceptional, with room service, dry cleaning, and laundry available at our convenience. The staff was always friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the beautiful outdoor swimming pool and garden area, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The free Wi-Fi and parking were also a great plus.

We highly recommend this place to everyone.
