Grabbing a taxi from the airport was also quite reasonable, costing K$5700. The hotel had a good money exchange at the entrance, with a fair buy/sell spread. The neighborhood was upscale and the property itself was a four-star with excellent amenities. The rooms were comfortable, the staff was attentive, and the restaurant's menu and cuisine were fantastic. The hotel was also wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for anyone with a handicap. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

It is also situated in one of the nicest areas in Yangon, with a park just opposite the hotel where we enjoyed morning jogs. The view of the Shwedagon Pagoda from here is absolutely breathtaking.
