We had an amazing stay at Hotel Portland. the staff, including Indira, Anusa, Bibika, Aniz. They were so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. the included breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of hot and cold dishes. the location was perfect, close to the lake and in the heart of the main tourist area. the spacious room with a balcony and modern bathroom added to the overall comfort of our stay. We also enjoyed the bonus of being able to rent scooters.

As young holiday goers, we loved the vibrant location, just steps away from the main strip, with easy access to shops. The staff were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Everything you will need, including restaurants, cafes, shops, and bars. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a balcony offering a nice view of the surroundings. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of local and Western dishes, with options changed daily.

There can be some noise at night from nearby nightclubs.

The staff was very helpful in arranging tours and providing shuttle services. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with modern amenities such as an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. The breakfast buffet had a variety of Western and Indian dishes, making it a perfect start to the day.

Although the hotel was wonderful, there was some noise at night from neighboring bars. Additionally, the bed was quite large and took up a lot of space in the room, causing some inconveniences.

Great lake view, delicious breakfast spread. Staff extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive. Wonderful rainfall shower with good pressure. Firm but comfortable bed. Rooms spacious. Will definitely return.

I was impressed by the perfect location of the hotel, with easy access to the lake, restaurants, shopping, and more. The view from both my room and the rooftop was breathtaking. I appreciated the excellent customer service, especially from Anusha, Indira, and Dipika. They were incredibly helpful in arranging sightseeing trips and bike rentals. The breakfast offered a good selection and was enjoyable.

The lack of double glazed windows made it a bit noisy at night, as I was woken up by outside noise from bars and people returning from nights out.

The room was great, generous staff, peaceful location, grateful for their gesture of not charging us for the extra day, strongly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently located near the best restaurants and bars in the area, making it easy to enjoy the local nightlife. the staff is amazing and very helpful, from building out a great itinerary for our two-day trip to helping us book a taxi to make the sightseeing experience super comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread and the lovely lake view from our room.

The Wi-Fi connection was flaky due to consistent power cuts, but the hotel has a backup that just takes a bit to start. However, overall it was a great experience and we would definitely stay here again.
