I recently stayed at Lama Lodge, but due to the rebuilding, I was accommodated at Danphe Cafe. The manager, Laka, was incredibly helpful, organizing a guide for our trek to Namche Bazar. Danphe Cafe had delicious coffee, great food, and a convenient location near Lukla Airport. The owners and staff were amazing, arranging an early breakfast before our early morning flight. The rooftop room offered stunning mountain views and a clean ensuite bathroom, a welcome relief after weeks in the mountains. I would definitely stay here again!

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The owner of the hotel was incredibly kind and accommodating. When I arrived without a reservation, he went out of his way to find me a room. He even helped me book a guide for my trek and arranged transportation to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Lama Hotel in Lukla for one night. The purpose of my trip was to explore the Everest region, and Lama Hotel was the perfect base for my adventure. The owner, Lama, is an incredible man who runs a foundation helping local kids get an education. The money spent at the hotel goes towards this cause, which I highly recommend supporting. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was better than most guest houses in the area. They had hot water, free wifi, electricity, and a warm blanket – a real jackpot! The restaurant served delicious coffee and great burgers, and the rooftop had a nice view. Cheers to Lama Hotel!

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to the airport and with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms were warm and comfortable, with clean ensuite bathrooms. The staff provided great service and were accommodating, arranging breakfast even in the early morning hours. The hotel also had a lovely dining area on the second floor, creating a pleasant atmosphere for meals.

Limited staff availability was a drawback during the stay.
