hotel asterisk is charming if you're into small rooms! after enduring cold nights due to a broken heater, i demanded a room upgrade. yet, instead of an upgrade, i got 'sorry, we're fully booked. i almost wrote a positive review, but just couldn’t.

Waking up in my cozy room, I enjoyed complimentary snacks and drinks. The location was ideal, with major museums a short stroll away. Staff were friendly and eager to help, providing great local recommendations. The personalized touches, like a welcome drink, made me feel instantly at home.

During my stay, I was quite disappointed to find that my room was cold at night, as the heater wasn’t functioning properly. Additionally, I found the stairs to be quite steep, which made carrying my luggage a challenge. I also encountered a disturbing noise late at night from another guest using a blow dryer, which made it tough to get a good night’s sleep.

had an amazin stay at hotel asterisk! the staff were super friendly and helped us with maps and tips for the city. our room was really comfy and so clean, which made it even better! the location was great, so close to the heineken mueseum and easy to walk to the city center. loved the chill vibe of the area too, felt very homey.

only downside was some noise from the plumbing in the walls and breakfast not being included. also, a bit of a walk to get to some places.
