The breakfast at Van Der Valk was absolutely delicious with a wide variety of options to choose from. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a highlight. The location of the hotel was also stunning, surrounded by a beautiful forest and just a short walk through the dunes to the sea. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, making for a comfortable stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location is just perfect, being very close to the national park and only a short walk away from the sea through the dunes. The service was top-notch, from the warm welcome drink to the helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist us. The room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, including heating, air conditioning, and tea/coffee facilities. We also loved having a mini-bar, a sitting area, and a terrace to enjoy. The hotel even provided free toiletries, cookware, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV for our convenience. The on-site dining options were excellent, with a restaurant and bar/lounge area offering delicious meals and refreshing drinks. We especially appreciated the packed lunches and special diet menus available. The garden area was a lovely place to relax, and we also made use of the on-site car park and luggage storage. this place provided everything we could ask for and more!

Quiet location near the beach and village, 10 min bike ride. Super comfortable room upgrade. Friendly receptionists. Quiet, well-equipped and modern. Breakfast with sufficient options. Easy check-in and check-out. Parking for bikes and cars.

I had a wonderful stay at the apartments in Texel. the location was perfect, right on the edge of the National Dunes Park and the beach, making it ideal for walking and hiking. the apartment itself was well-equipped and had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and a combination oven-microwave. the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing us with a cart to transport our luggage and even arranging for a delicious 3-course vegetarian dinner to be delivered to our apartment. the outdoor area facing the woods was a lovely spot to relax, with a bike and walking path right next to it. the service and amenities at De Pelikaan Texel Appartementen were excellent, and I highly recommend it.

The hotel was located close to stunning beaches and offered plenty of walking opportunities. Breakfast was satisfactory and included a variety of items to choose from.

The room was definitely lacking in terms of cleanliness and modernity. the carpets looked old and stained, and bugs could be found in the curtains.
