Our room was compact, but tidy and modern. We loved the unique split-level design, it added some character. The basement breakfast was extensive and delicious. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is in a great location close to a variety of museums and parks. The staff was friendly and always helpful, and the complimentary pastries and drinks at the lobby were a nice touch. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. We also appreciated the free bottled water and Nespresso capsules provided each day.

We had a fantastic stay at Huygens Place! Upon checking in, we were delighted to find complementary pastries waiting for us. the room was sunny with a large window, and despite being compact, it was efficiently appointed with a well-functioning bathroom. the bed was incredibly comfortable, with a firm mattress and great pillows. We also appreciated that the suitcases could fit under the bed. the A/C was easy to figure out, and the clerk offered to call a taxi for us. While waiting, we discovered the charming garden and enjoyed some refreshing water with fresh mint infusion. To our surprise, the clerk even brought us a delightful mini chocolate croissant and chocolate ganache mini cake. the location was excellent, within walking distance of all the sights and with a wonderful vegan restaurant just across the street.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, with friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom is clean, and the shower head looks practically brand new. The hotel also offers a variety of facilities, including a mini fridge with free bottled water.

The walls in the hotel are thin, so noise from neighboring rooms can be easily heard.

The best aspects were the close proximity to the beautiful Vondelpark and many eateries just along the road. The room, although a bit small and outdated, was clean and comfy. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast provided was outstanding with a wide variety of pastries, cheese, salmon, meat, and eggs. The hotel was also well connected to transportation, making it easy to explore this city.
