A hidden gem in the heart of downtown, Arco Iris Lodge offers a unique and enchanting experience. We stayed in a charming 2-bedroom house, nestled on a hill with a delightful veranda. The lush surroundings made us feel like we were in a jungle oasis, yet we were just a 2-minute walk away from town. It was a tranquil and convenient location that exceeded our expectations. The lodge, rooms, and property are all beautifully maintained, allowing for a comfortable and clean stay. We also loved the friendly animals - the cats, dogs, and horses - that welcomed us each morning. The fresh and delicious food along with the close proximity to shops and cafes made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this extraordinary place.

As longer term business travelers, we loved the modern and spacious rooms at this hotel. The comfortable beds and European modern bathrooms with rainforest showers were a great touch. The property's beautiful gardens and quiet, private location up on the hill made it a peaceful retreat. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was fabulous. The central location, close to shops and eateries, was also a big plus. we highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay seamless, setting up tours and recommending restaurants. The breakfast is delicious, with a good choice of fruits and cereals. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a porch to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

The town nearby can be quite noisy and crowded, taking away from the serene atmosphere of the lodge.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Monteverde for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, just a couple minutes' walk from the town center yet surrounded by forest. The cabins are clean, well-appointed, and offer a peaceful place to sleep. The breakfast, available for a small additional charge, is delicious and provides a great start to the day before exploring the cloud forest or going on zip lines. The staff is friendly and helpful, adding to the overall enjoyment of the stay.

We had a fantastic stay during our Christmas vacation. the hotel's proximity to shops and restaurants was a major plus, as we were able to explore the area easily. the beautiful outdoor spaces provided a peaceful and close-to-nature experience. We especially enjoyed the friendly dogs and cats that roamed around the premises, adding a charming touch to our stay.

If I had to mention something negative, I would have appreciated some assistance with carrying our suitcases up the hill to our house. Additionally, the indoor lounge area could have been more comfortable, as we could hear outdoor noises quite clearly at night, which was a bit disruptive for light sleepers.

our second stay in monteverde was even better than the first. this time at a charming lodge that exceeded all expectations. the location was perfect, allowing us to explore the city center on foot while enjoying the peace of the lodge's oasis.

Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay at Arco Iris Lodge! The location is perfect, secluded yet close to restaurants and a grocery store. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us book our coffee tour and zip lining adventure. The breakfast was excellent with fresh eggs made to order. The cabins were comfortable and had everything we needed. The gardens were beautiful, and we loved the company of the reception cat and hotel dogs. We didn't want to leave!

Great value for money, with a complimentary upgrade and a cute lodge with a comfortable bed at Arco Iris Lodge. The location was ideal, tucked away but easily accessible from the main road, close to the town centre, and surrounded by lots of wildlife. The front desk staff were friendly, spoke great English, and were very helpful.
