My stay was delightful, with a lovely view of the canal from my room. The staff was always friendly, and the free coffee and apples at the reception were a nice touch.

my stay was ruined by a shower that sprayed everywhere and a fusion of two small beds with no comfort. I had hoped for a room upgrade, but apparently, being just another guest meant little here. How delightful that doesn’t matter to them. It's a shame, I almost thought about giving a good review. just couldn’t.

Canal view rooms offer great size and cleanliness. A fan to beat the heat. For value, these views trump smaller, standard rooms. Trust me, if you’re looking to stay comfortably, the canal views make the extra treat worthwhile.

The toilet seat was missing, and the bathroom needed repair work!!! The walls and ceiling are paper thin and allow every noise to travel!!! There’s a lack of hanging space for clothes, and strange scratch marks on the floor are quite off-putting!!!

This was just a top selection for a quick break in Amsterdam with good value for cost. The location is absolutely spot on, within walking distance from the canals and shopping centers. If you plan to be out all day, try to find a room with good Wi-Fi reception, as it only connects properly in the lobby.
