stayed in maastricht before, but green elephant hostel & spa exceeded expectations! clean and cozy rooms with power outlets, amazing garden with jacuzzi, and friendly staff make it a top choice. felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. definitely one of my favorite hostels so far.

No soap dispenser in bathrooms.

the hostel exceeded my expectations with its modern design, new equipment, and pleasant spa. Very convenient location near the train station, spacious rooms, and clean facilities. The staff was accommodating and overall, the best hostel experience I've had as an exchange student.

Something was off with the spa information.

As a solo traveler, the Green Elephant Hostel & Spa offered a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The private bunk for two was perfect for me and my friend, with a cute wooden "case" for added privacy. The bathrooms and cafe were exceptionally clean, and the staff was kind and helpful. The self-service cafe had high-quality tea for an affordable price of only two euros per cup. The location, although a bit of a walk from the city center, provided a beautiful and safe community environment to unwind and relax.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, assisting with luggage and giving great recommendations for solo travelers like myself. the breakfast spread was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options, and the overall atmosphere of the hostel was enjoyable, especially for groups with the games in the common area. the spa facilities exceeded expectations with three different saunas.

Although it may have been coincidental, there seemed to be an issue with the cleanliness of the rooms. In one room, there was a strange smell and a slept-on bed, while another room was lacking certain facilities.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. The location was really convenient as it was very close to the main train station and within walking distance of the city center. We didn't have to worry about transportation at all. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive. Our room was spacious and neatly decorated, making us feel right at home. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our time here.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hostel! The wooden chambers were unique and cozy, and we loved the tastefully chosen plants and accessories in the rooms. The price was great considering we had separate chambers, so no sharing with a large group. The hostel's location right by the station was fantastic, making it convenient for exploring the city. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we appreciated their warm welcome and assistance throughout our stay. The beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the delicious and nourishing breakfast. The hostel also had two beautiful courtyards with trees and picnic facilities, which added to the overall ambiance. We highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting this city.

I recently stayed at the Green Elephant Hostel & Spa for a short vacation in Maastricht. The hostel is one of the best designed I have ever experienced. The attention to detail and functionality of the facilities was impressive. The location was perfect, with easy access to attractions, nature, and transportation. The staff, although a few seemed less enthusiastic, were generally good. it was one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in.

I had the most incredible stay at this hostel! The staff at Green Elephant Hostel & Spa were so helpful and kind. They made me feel welcome right from the start, with a warm handshake at check-in and friendly smiles throughout my stay. The facilities were excellent, especially the spa where I could relax after a day of exploring the beautiful medieval gothic city. I also loved the fact that there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for meals. The breakfast, in particular, was amazing value for money. The comfortable pods provided a cozy and comfortable sleeping experience. a fantastic hostel that I highly recommend!

The location was perfect, just a short walk to the city centre. What stood out to me was the hostel's commitment to sustainability, evident in their setup for breakfast. The newly refurbished hostel and hotel complex had great facilities, including a spacious and beautifully decorated common area. The dormitories were equipped with power ports at every bed location, and the beds provided a comfortable and private sleeping experience. it was a unique, enjoyable stay.
